"Pilates was my saving grace during my pregnancy. I worked out
twice a week taking a group reformer class in addition to a private
session. Because of pilates, I had obliques through out most of the 288
days of pregnancy. Although I gained eight pounds more with
this pregnancy, I looked better than I did with my first child.
I consistently got compliments about how great I looked. The
compliments were much needed to my self-esteem, especially as I got
bigger and bigger. More importantly though, I continued to have good
flexibility and was able to work through the tightness in my lower back
and hips.
Chris Hall is an expert in her
field. She pays close attention to the body and and clearly explains how
to get the most out of each exercise. I have achieved the best results
with Chris. She's fantastic."

I've been taking private reformer sessions with Chris for almost two
years now. Working one-on-one with
Chris was exactly what I needed to take things to another level,
especially after a major surgery with a long recovery that left my core
and lower back pretty weak. Pilates is unique in that
there's always a way to make a move more or less challenging, and tailor
it to your level of ability. Chris, Angela and Kristen are skilled
instructors who know how to help you get the most out of the time with
them. Their new studio is beautiful and
bright, and has enough equipment and space for any form of pilates that
floats your boat. Highly recommended.

I've been taking private sessions with Chris for about 1 1/2 years now
and I can honestly say that I'd be lost without her. After back surgery several years ago, I was diagnosed with yet another herniated
disc. After checking out a lot of studios, I can honestly say that Urbancore
Pilates and Fitness has exceptionally patient instructors, who make you
feel comfortable, however awkward you feel. I've been completely
surprised by what my body can do and how
much stronger I've become! This isn't a
churn them in...churn them out kind of studio where they recognize you
by your credit card #. Here they really care and
take pride in helping you achieve your goals!

I have been taking group classes
and private pilates lessons at UrbanCore Pilates & Fitness since it
opened. The "heart core" class is the best circuit training workout!
It is a different, challenging workout each time. My cardio endurance
has improved immensely since taking this class.
I have also
taken pilates lessons on the reformer (privates, duets and the group
reformer class). I am never disappointed with my workouts and have
really noticed a difference in my body composition since starting
pilates about 15 months ago.
Chris Hall is a great pilates
instructor. I have a chronic neck injury that she monitors during my
workouts. I feel very comfortable that my workouts are building
strength and not straining muscles. Chris pushes me to be stronger,
fitter and healthier every time that I enter the studio.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this studio. The
instructors/owners are all fabulous and I would follow them (and have)
anywhere that they go. To me, pilates classes all depend on the
instructor. The space is clean and beautiful and a great place to work
out. The equipment is also top notch. I have taken reformer lessons,
mat Pilates and heartcore and am excited to try club core next. I am a
runner and have completed two marathons. The best shape that I have
ever been in was complementing my running with heartcore. It's the most
efficient way to work out, incorporating interval training to achieve
both cardiovascular and strength. The prices are good and the customer
service is amazing.
